Every message goes through Tor. And Tor runs inside the app.
SacketChatty is a messaging app for iPhone. It encrypts every message end-to-end with the Signal protocol and carries it to the server through the Tor network, to an onion service. The server never sees your IP address.

01
Tor inside the app
Tor runs in the app itself: no VPN, no other app, no extra permission. The server can only be reached as an onion service, and without the access key it cannot even be found.
02
End-to-end encryption
The Signal protocol, with a fresh key for every message. Safety numbers let you check that no one got in the middle.
03
Encrypted groups and attachments
Groups are end-to-end encrypted too, and so are photos, videos, voice notes and files: they are encrypted on the phone before they leave.
04
No phone number, no email
You sign up with a username and a password, with an optional two-factor code. Nothing that ties the account to your identity.
05
Several devices, with your consent
You can use your account on more than one iPhone. Your history reaches a new device only if you approve it from one you already have.
06
Encrypted backup
Your history backup is encrypted on the phone with a passphrase only you know. The server keeps bytes it cannot read.

Your IP stays yours
The app never talks to the server directly: every request crosses the Tor network before reaching the onion service. Whoever runs the server sees a Tor circuit, not an IP address.
